I have been working in the field of behaviour for over 25 years and have always been fascinated with the mind and how it affects peoples' perceptions and actions and ultimately their lives. I have a degree in education that specialises in behaviour, a diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy and a diploma in CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy). I have been trained in brief solution focused therapy and I have studied neuroscience, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), and am a published author on the effects of language on  behaviour (Amazon). I am used to working with vulnerable children and adults and have an enhanced DBS certificate. I am a member of the professional bodies for hypnotherapy including the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapists (AfSFH) and the National Council for Hypnotherapists (NCH) and a founding member of Choice Therapies.

I am a former managing director of an award winning company as well as a keen athlete and have been a member of Team GB as part of the pentathlon series for the last three years, winning Gold and Silver in the 2019 European Championships. I am also a former British and European Taekwondo champion and coach of the British Taekwondo team so I am well versed in sports psychology. and know how hypnotherapy can seriously enhance performance.
